On Sunday, May 20, we will offer our Spring architecture tour. Noted architectural historian David Kammer will talk about how Nob Hill came about and teach walkers to identify meaningful historic characteristics of houses on the route and how they might be retained by remodeling sensitively. Gary Eyster will talk about tools residents can use to research the history of their Nob Hill house.
We will focus on the 1916 University Heights and 1925 Granada Heights.
We will meet at 1 pm on the front steps of the 1949 Immanuel Presbyterian Church, 114 Carlisle SE.
Space is limited and reservations are necessary. reDiscover Nob Hill welcomes your ideas about routes and topics of special interest to you. Contribute your ideas and make reservations for the walk here on the website .
