On Sunday, May 4, 2008, reDiscover Nob Hill hosted its Spring walking tour of our historic architecture. Walkers got to see and learn to identify the most popular residential architectural styles found here with noted architectural historian David Kammer and explored some interesting people who have lived and worked in the area.
We gathered at Immanuel Presbyterian Church, under the main portico on Carlisle. The walk lasted about 2 hours and covered about 2 miles, ending at a historic area home where we enjoyed refreshments in the shady back yard.
