"The design and range of regionally-inspired stylistic elements applied to the houses imbued the district with the appearance of a distinctly southwestern suburb…The spatial organization of the houses on these residential blocks and the appearance of the houses as to their setting, workmanship, materials and modest use of regional stylistic details convey a strong feeling of the ideal associated with suburban development in Albuquerque from the mid-1920s through the late 1950s.
